What to include

1. Your game version and Windows version.
2. The floor, Ascension count, and relevant heroes or system.
3. The exact steps that led to the problem.
4. What you expected and what happened instead.
5. A screenshot, if it helps explain the issue.

Running a Windows build

1. Download a build only from an official release or a direct developer invitation.
2. Extract the entire ZIP into its own folder.
3. Keep the EXE, PCK, and player README together.
4. Run the EXE from the extracted folder.

If the game cannot start, include the exact message and where you extracted it. Get the current free Windows download from the official itch.io page.

Protect your save

Exit the game before making a backup. Your save folder is:

%APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Bonecaller\

Back up the whole folder, keeping bonecaller_save.json and install.key together. Do not edit the save JSON or replace only one of those files.

Keep your install key private. A normal bug report does not need your save folder, passwords, or account documents.

Stuck on a floor?

Check open Host slots, unspent Paragon credits, and affordable upgrades first. Try a different affinity or row arrangement, or farm a floor your Host clears reliably.

Use free boss practice to compare damage and survival before a reward-bearing attempt. A loss should give you a next step.
